Teenage Pregnancies on the rise in Busoga Region

The Kyabazinga Initiative has shifted focus to the increasing teenage pregnancies.

The Uganda AIDS Commission and the AIDS Information Center, has registered more news HIV cases in Busoga region.

Yudaaya Kigenyi, the Minister for Kyabazinga Affairs, says girls in Busoga are in a crisis.

UNAIDS nominated Kyabazinga William Gabula Nadiope IV to help them fight against Teenage pregnancies according to Mukwaya James of the Kyabazinga Initiative.

Mary Namuyomba from the Uganda AIDS Commission says the HIV prevalence rate is very high in Busoga and people need to be extra careful.

Dr. Baker Bakashaba, the head of the AIDS Information Center, explained the situation in Busoga.
