The flight, which departed at exactly 10:00 AM local time, marks a significant milestone for the national carrier as it expands its international routes. Â

Uganda Airlines is operating this long-haul flight using its modern Airbus A330neo, a state-of-the-art aircraft equipped with advanced comfort and safety features. Â

This highly anticipated flight brings the airline’s total destinations to 17 across 14 countries. Â

The new route will operate three times a week—on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays—with a one-way ticket priced at 2,743,000 Ugandan shillings (approximately $750). Â

The aircraft has a passenger capacity of 250, and Jennifer Bamuturaki, CEO of Uganda Airlines, highlighted the airline’s commitment to enhancing Uganda’s aviation sector. Â
