A massive fire has broken out at Kiboko Enterprises Limited, a prominent business located in Namuwongo, Makindye Division, sending plumes of thick black smoke into the sky and causing widespread panic in the area.
 The company, known for dealing in a variety of consumer products and wholesale goods, has reportedly suffered extensive damage.
Eyewitnesses say the fire started in the early morning hours and quickly spread across the premises. Several workers and nearby residents rushed to the scene in an attempt to save property, but the intensity of the blaze overwhelmed their efforts.
 The cause of the fire is still unknown, but authorities have launched an investigation to determine its origin.
The Uganda Police Fire and Rescue Services responded swiftly, dispatching fire trucks to the scene in a bid to contain the flames and prevent further spread to neighboring buildings.
 As of now, no casualties have been reported, but losses in stock and property are expected to be significant. Business owners and residents in the vicinity have been urged to stay clear of the area as firefighting efforts continue.
