Canaan Land was filled with celebration and reflection as Salt Media marked its 11th anniversary with a grand event, highlighting a journey of faith, resilience, and a forward-looking vision for evangelical outreach.
Â
The founder, Pastor Aloysious Bujjingo of House of Prayer Ministries International, delivered a powerful and emotional keynote speech, tracing the media house's roots back to a divine vision. He expressed profound pride in the pioneering "church without walls" model, a revolutionary concept that Salt Media was specifically established to broadcast to a global audience.
Â
In a heartfelt testimony, Pastor Bujjingo opened up about the challenges faced along the way. "There was a time when I was overwhelmed by the magnitude of the task and the obstacles we encountered," he shared with the congregation. "But it was through the steadfast prayers of the believers that I found the strength to stand firm and persevere until this day."
Â
He extended deep gratitude to every individual who he said "laid a foundation stone" for Salt Media, acknowledging both the pioneers present at its inception and the partners who have joined the mission over the years. Reaffirming the station's core mission, Pastor Bujjingo promised listeners and viewers that Salt Media remains "committed to serving them tirelessly."
Â
The General Manager, Mr Charles James Senkubuge, reciprocated the appreciation, thanking House of Prayer Ministries International for its unwavering spiritual and material support. Pastor Bujjingo personally commended Mr Senkubuge for his exceptional dedication and service since the very first day of the broadcast. The celebration took a spiritual turn as the church gathered to offer a special prayer for the General Manager, invoking long life and divine blessings upon him.
Â
Adding a significant announcement to the festivities, the Salt Media Music Manager, Mrs Susan Makula Bujjingo, revealed an ambitious new plan. She announced that the station will be staging a series of Gospel Music Crusades in various regions across the country.
"This is a powerful strategy to fulfil the Great Commission," Mrs Bujjingo stated. "Through music and worship, we aim to preach the Gospel and touch hearts in every corner of our nation."
The announcement comes as the House of Prayer Ministries is in its final days of a profound period of prayer and fasting, which is scheduled to conclude on Sunday, November 11, 2025, setting a spiritual tone for the new initiatives ahead.
