Independence Night Prayer Draws Massive Crowds to Kololo Kampala, Uganda

Thousands Flock to Kololo for "Independence Night" Prayer, Seeking Deliverance from 'Fire'

Kololo, Uganda  – This past Friday, the grace of the Lord was evident at the Kololo Independence Grounds as thousands of believers gathered for the "Independence Night" prayer event, fervently seeking spiritual freedom and deliverance.

The prayers commenced at 8:00 AM on Friday under favorable weather conditions, which allowed attendees to travel comfortably to the grounds. By 11:00 AM, the influx of people from various districts had already begun. Our interviews revealed that many were specifically drawn by the promise of the "Independence Night" prayers, indicating the event's nationwide appeal.

  A Long-Awaited Gathering

These devoted followers, often referred to as the "children of God," disclosed that they had been preparing for this day for many months. They viewed it as a crucial ceremony for their emergence from a period of intense spiritual oppression, described as a "dense cloud."

  Divine Mandate from Canaan Land

Others reported that the inspiration for their attendance came from a divine revelation received at "Canaan Land," the headquarters of the House of Prayer Ministries International. They stated that the Pastor had undertaken significant work there, making it imperative for them not to miss this prayer night. Some attendees credited Salt Media (Salt TV and Salt Radio) for broadcasting the Pastor's crusades across all districts clearly and without interruption, which helped them follow the call.

The Climactic "Lunch Hour" Prayer

The spiritual climax occurred during the "Lunch Hour" prayer session, led by Pastor Bujjingo from Canaan Land, as is his custom. The Pastor dedicated this time to a powerful intercessory prayer aimed at pulling believers from the "fire" of spiritual bondage.

The Pastor prayed intensely for two hours without ceasing. During this time, believers who felt oppressed participated in a symbolic act of "exiting the fire," demonstrating their faith that Satan, whom they compare to a lion that does not drink water, had been defeated.

Pastor Bujjingo led the congregation in a prayer of liberation, aimed at breaking every scheme of Satan. The atmosphere was so charged that it was believed anyone participating would be purified by the "fire" of the Holy Spirit, ignited by the prayer of "Come Out of the Fire" that the Pastor decreed.

Anointing and Testimonies

During the "Lunch Hour," Pastor Bujjingo anointed the believers with oil. As the "Independence Night" event progressed, he called forward those ready to accept Jesus as their personal savior. We witnessed several individuals step forward to confess the name of Jesus, declaring Him as the source of their life.

Following the session, we interacted with attendees to get their impressions. Many praised Pastor Bugingo's powerful prayer, which they believed had liberated them from the "ashes of fire."

Hope for the Future

They expressed optimism that, having been filled with the anointing and God's grace, the "ashes of fire" would never afflict them again. They believe their future days will be filled with peace and prosperity.

A Night of Testimonies

The "Independence Night" prayers concluded with powerful testimonies as believers witnessed the defeat of Satan. Many gave accounts that infuriated the devil, testifying that Jesus had sent a messenger into the fire—just as He did with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in King Nebuchadnezzar's furnace—to bring them out.

The remaining task for believers is to continue worshipping and listening to God, trusting Him to complete the good work He started. The collective hope is for total liberation for all, leaving no one behind. In this way, the "Operation Come Out of the Fire" successfully thwarted the plans of the evil one, Satan.
