Residents of Sanga Village, located in Wakiso District, have found renewed hope that their children will grow up to become valuable citizens in the future.
This hope comes following a visit by Professor Dr. Madhu Krishan, a special guest from the United States of America.
The Professor visited KISA, a local children’s care home for orphans and vulnerable children. During his visit, he promised to do everything possible to help these Ugandan children get an education.
Deus Kananura, the founder of the children’s care home, expressed his joy, saying they have received great happiness and hope from the American guest, Professor Dr. Madhu Krishan.
Two children, a boy named Tonny William and a girl named Nakibuuka Hellen, spoke on behalf of the other children at the home. They addressed the guest in English to explain the difficult living conditions they face every day.
Professor Madhu was deeply moved after hearing the children’s heartfelt pleas. He prayed to God to give him the strength to help them. He also thanked the young ones for knowing what they want for their future.
Professor Madhu is originally from, India. However, he converted to Christianity many years ago and accepted Jesus as his savior. Leaders in India once persecuted him and wanted to kill him, forcing him to flee to America.
He has now lived there as a resident for 50 years. He now preaches the Gospel of Jesus around the world. He asked the children to grow up without tribal conflicts or hatred between nations.
Mark Mwesigye, who is also one of the directors of this care home, thanked Professor Madhu for his visit. He also appealed to other well-wishers to come forward and help give the children of this nation a brighter future.
