This evening the Tooro Kigdom Prime Minister Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire has refuted allegations on the health status of His majesty Oyo Nyimba Rukidi IV of Tooro.
PM Rwomiire says that this is difficult and deeply concerning time and asked the people of Tooro to pray for the life of Omukama Oyo.
Rwomiire appealed to everyone to refrain from speculation, rumours or sharing unverified information regarding His Majesty's condition.
"We understan the concern and anxiety that news of this nature will naturally cause but we ask for calm, restraint and respect for His Majesty and the Tooro Royal Family," Rwomiire added.
All updates about King Oyo's health are provided by the official channels of Tooro Kingdom appropriately.
Prime Minister Rwomiire asked for prayers and stand together with the King.
King Oyo was born on 16th April 1992, began his reign on 12th September 1995. His official coronation was held on 17th April 2010 when he turned 18.
