Pr Bujjingo Urges Christians to Glorify God, Criticizes Title-Seeking Pastors

Pastor Aloysious Bujjingo has called on Christians to always acknowledge God’s hand in their achievements, emphasizing that promotion and success come from the Lord alone. Pastor Bujjingo delivered the message during today’s lunch hour prayers at Canaan Land in Makerere Kikoni, where he cautioned believers against self-glorification.
"It is God who lifts and brings down; no one should boast in their own strength,” Pastor Bujjingo declared. “When you succeed, give glory to the Lord, not yourself, because every step you take is by His grace."

Pastor also expressed disappointment with fellow clergymen who, instead of humbly serving, seek worldly recognition by adopting titles such as “Overseer” and “Bishop.” He pointed to the Apostle Paul as an example, noting that despite spreading the Gospel far and wide, Paul never sought honorary titles.

Pastor Bujjingo invited worshippers to a two-day special service on August 13th and 14th, 2025, at Canaan Land, Makerere Kikoni, where he will anoint believers with holy oil for breakthrough and divine favor.

Additionally, he offered prayers for those traveling from different regions to attend the Kololo Independence Night celebration on September 26th at Kololo Independence Grounds, asking for God’s protection over all attendees.

The sermon resonated with many congregants, who pledged to prioritize humility and gratitude in their spiritual walk. As the service concluded, worshippers left with a renewed commitment to giving God all the glory in their lives.
