When you face challenges, you need people to comfort you. A person with good friends cannot be easily overwhelmed by problems
During the Lunch Hour Service at Canaan Land on Monday, Pastor Aloysious Bujjingo emphasized the importance of Christians working together and supporting one another in times of need.
In his sermon, Pastor Bujjingo reminded worshippers that even when God performs miracles, He often uses people as instruments. "When you face challenges, you need people to comfort you. A person with good friends cannot be easily overwhelmed by problems," he said.
The pastor also cautioned believers against isolating themselves during difficult times, specifically advising them not to switch off their phones. "Someone may want to help you, but if your phone is off, they won’t reach you," he noted.
Additionally, Pastor Bujjingo expressed gratitude to Christians contributing to the upcoming Independence Night celebration scheduled for September 26, 2025, at Kololo Independence Grounds. The event is expected to draw believers from across the country for a night of worship and thanksgiving.
Meanwhile, the congregation at Canaan Land has entered its second week of prayer and fasting, which will conclude on Sunday. The spiritual exercise has seen massive participation as believers seek divine intervention in their personal lives and the nation.
The sermon resonated with many attendees, reinforcing the message of unity and mutual support within the Christian community.
