Pr Bujjingo Receives Official Uganda Cranes Jersey Ahead of Algeria Match

Pastor Aloysious Bujjingo was officially presented with a personalized Uganda Cranes jersey by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) in a special ceremony held at Canaan Land. The jersey, bearing his name and the initials "PR. ALOYSIOUS BUJJINGO" on the back, was delivered by FUFA officials Vincent Kayizzi, a former Uganda Cranes player, and Dennis Kizito, a football coach, who were sent by FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo.

The delegation also brought an additional Uganda Cranes jersey, which the pastor and his team will wear as a "point of contact" to pray for the national team ahead of their crucial match against Algeria at the Namboole Stadium.

During the ceremony, Pastor Bujjingo offered a powerful prayer, anointing the jersey with oil and calling upon God to grant the Uganda Cranes victory in their Game tomorrow  against Algeria. He also prayed for divine protection over the players, coaches, and all Ugandans supporting the team.

"I dedicate this jersey and our national team to God. May He give them strength, wisdom, and victory on the field. We believe that through prayer, Uganda will triumph," said Pastor Bujjingo.

The FUFA officials further announced that Pastor Bujjingo’s ticket to watch the match live at Namboole Stadium was already secured, inviting him to cheer on the team in person. The pastor expressed his excitement, stating that he was honored to receive the jersey and looked forward to supporting the Cranes.

The gesture highlights the growing connection between sports and faith in Uganda, with many believing that spiritual backing plays a key role in the team’s success. The Uganda Cranes will take on Algeria in a must-win encounter, and with the nation rallying behind them—both on the pitch and in prayer—hopes are high for a positive result.

As the match day approaches, fans across the country will be watching, praying, and cheering for the Cranes, with Pastor Bujjingo’s blessings adding an extra layer of inspiration.
