Kyabazinga William Gabula Nadiope IV Marked 11 Years on the Throne
Bugembe was filled with excitement as the Kyabazinga of Busoga, William Gabula Nadiope IV, celebrated 11 years of his reign on 13th September 2025.
The Kyabazinga was led in a procession by bikers and a motorcade from Igenge Palace.
On behalf of the government, Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja delivered a message from President Museveni, who has strong support to the Kyabazinga.
Nabbanja arrived in a helicopter named "Namunkanga" at the Igenge Kyabazinga Palace.
Drums sounded marking the 11th year in style at the Saturday’s occasion.
The Kyabazinga has also urged people to sleeping under mosquito nets as a way to cub malaria.
As usual, Prime Minister Nabbanja rallying for President Museveni in the 2026 general elections, asking Busoga to maintain their loyalty to the NRM government.
Dr. Joseph Muvawala, the Katuukiro (Prime Minister) of Busoga, has asked the people of Busoga to be disciplined during the 2026 elections.
Minister Milly Babalanda, in charge of the presidency who was also celebrating with the people of Busoga, congratulated the Kyabazinga.
The people of Busoga expressed their joy to the Kyabazinga on this occasion and the twins recently born in the royal family.
