Learning at Kisiiha  Primary School in Buhimba sub- County, Kikuube  District, was  severely disrupted after a powerful windstorm ripped the roof off a three-classroom block, forcing some pupils to study under trees.

The damaged block, which houses Primary One, Primary Three and Primary Four classes, was struck over the weekend when strong winds swept through the area during what residents described as a sudden storm despite clear and sunny weather.

According to the Head teacher Ali Muhamudu Atugonza  says the damaged classrooms are no longer safe for occupation, warning that the building could deteriorate further if subjected to additional heavy rain or strong winds. He added that the district promised them to work on .

The headteacher appreciated the wellwisher pastor  Lino Garudino from Ebinezer nursery and primary school who gave them support of iron sheets and timbers after visiting them and saw the children receiving lessons under the tree.

Pastor Lino Garudino from Ebinezer says that as awellwisher of the school he felt on the lives of the children studying under the tree which was not good on his side as apastor of the church.

Some of the parents appreciated pastor for the good heart for the school because they have raised their voices to different politicians but they have kept quite waiting for the children to continue tudying under the tree.
