Local leaders in Nakaseke District accuse opposition politicians of hindering the Namakenkera Industrial Park’s progress.

Nakaseke, Uganda – Local leaders in Nakaseke District have raised concerns about a section of opposition politicians who they accuse of frustrating the progress of the Namakenkera Industrial Park, claiming it has not benefited the community as intended.

Traffic was disrupted on the road from Mukono to Katosi,  at Namumira village in Mukono Central Division,  Mukono Municipality.

This happened when a bus belonging to Trinity Express Bus, registration number RAH 629B, carrying 70 passengers travelling from Kenya to Rwanda, collided with Train 73432 that was going to transport people from  Namumira station at around 6:00 AM.

A devastating fire tore through the bustling commercial hub of Kakajjo Zone in Kisenyi this morning, reducing multiple businesses to ashes and leaving a trail of destruction.

 The blaze, which erupted at approximately 6:30 a.m., caught many residents unaware as they were still asleep.
