RAJIV RUPARELIA was born on January 2, 1990, to Mr. Sudhir Ruparelia and Mrs. Jyotsna Ruparelia, and passed away at the age of 35.

The tragic accident that cut short Rajiv Ruparelia’s life has left the entire nation in mourning.

As we reported earlier, the accident occurred when Rajiv was driving a Nissan GT-R (Registration 638L) at around 1:45 AM. The car crashed into barriers placed on the Munyonyo-Busabala Flyover and burst into flames.

Today, before the cremation, family members, close friends, and well-wishers, led by his father Sudhir Ruparelia, held a funeral procession at various properties, starting with Speke Resort Munyonyo, buildings in Kampala, Crane Chambers, Speke Apartments, and others—a symbolic farewell to his wealth and legacy.

Also present were his racing cars and high-end motorcycles, as motorsport was one of his greatest passions.

At 2:40 PM, Rajiv’s body was taken to Lugogo for cremation.

Some Indians were seen weeping uncontrollably as they performed their last rites before Rajiv was cremated.

Sudhir Ruparelia, who had only one close friend named Alina (now deceased), had one child, Inara. Now, Sudhir is left with two daughters, Shina Ruparelia and Meera Ruparelia.
