Kassanda to host NRM Buganda Caucus MP’s Next Sunday

The leaders in Kassanda district have agreed to support only the flag bearers in the up coming general elections.

Kassanda was part of Mubende District and it mostly support the ruling government though the political climate changed in 2021.

Kassanda South, Kassanda North, and Bukuya have Members of Parliament, in addition to the District Woman MP.

Out of the four MPs, the NRM only has one, Micheal Bukenya, representing Bukuya.

Because of this, they have resolved to only supports NRM flag bearers not independents.

Abudul Bisaso, the NRM flag bear for Kassanda South, says he defeated his opponents including those who petitioned his win.

They are to host NRM Buganda Caucus next Sunday as a way forward before the general elections in 2026.
