ANNABA, ALGERIA – Uganda’s Ambassador to Algeria, H.E. Alintuma John Chrysostom Nsambu, was among the faithful who attended the Holy Mass celebrated by Pope Leo XIV in the city of Annaba, Algeria.
This day has its roots in the early 20th century. It was on February 28th, 1909, that women in New York, USA, who felt they were being treated unjustly, led one of the first major protests for their rights. These women were primarily members of the Socialist Party of America.
Former Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga has died at the age of 80, according to his family.
Odinga died in India where he has been receiving medical treatment.
