Schools That Performed Exceptionally Well In Lwengo District

Parents and teachers of Keikolongo Seed Secondary School, located in Malongo Sub-county, Lwengo District, gathered to celebrate the outstanding performance of their students in the recent Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).  

This school is among the top-performing government schools at both O-Level and A-Level, and this year, its performance has significantly improved.  

Keikolongo Seed Secondary School registered 86 candidates, all of whom passed in Division 1, with girls performing exceptionally well.  

The Director of Education in the district commended the government for constructing a library for the school and providing textbooks, which have greatly contributed to the students' success.  

Helen Akicwi, the health coordinator at the school, thanked the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) for donating sanitary pads to the girls, which has greatly supported their education and improved their performance.  

Deputy Headteacher Nicholas Niwagaba expressed gratitude to the government for providing computers and other resources, which have played a significant role in the school’s success.  

The headteacher of the school, Daria Nakirya, thanked the school’s board of governors and, most importantly, the Minister of Education, Janet Museveni, for her unwavering support for the children of Uganda. She also thanked the government for paying school fees for students, constructing buildings, tanks, and other facilities, which have greatly contributed to the school’s progress.  

Nakirya also expressed gratitude to President Museveni for the peace and stability in the country.  

The students, in turn, thanked their teachers, parents, and the government for their collective efforts in supporting their academic success.  

Parents praised the headteacher for her dedication to their children’s education, which has significantly contributed to their excellent performance.  

Ntoroga, a teacher at the school, thanked the government for providing infrastructure and pledged that the school would continue to work hard to maintain its high standards.  

The school also teaches students practical skills such as brickmaking, gardening, and baking mandazi and cakes.
