Jinja, Uganda – Police in Jinja are investigating the tragic discovery of a woman's body retrieved from the Nile River near Kyabazinga Road. The deceased has been transferred to Jinja Referral Hospital for postmortem examination as authorities work to establish the circumstances surrounding her death.
Police spokesperson Rusoke Kituuma confirmed the incident, stating: "We're treating this as a suspicious death and have launched full investigations to determine whether foul play was involved." The body showed no immediate visible signs of violence. Â
