Leaders in Kasangati town council have urged the joint development organization initiative (JODI) traders to avoid mixing business and politics if they want to attain development, especially at the national scale.

 This was said while addressing the traders during the savings-training workshop.

Tusubira Scovia a trainer in the ministry of trade, industry and microfinance on behalf of the minister appealed to women to avoid waiting for the daily provision from the husbands and to start working.

She further promised to support them and urged them to work collaboratively.

Justine Mbabazi the deputy RDC urged the traders to work together with sincerity.

Moses Byaruhanga the senior presidential advisor who was the guest of honour commended the traders for the efforts and affirmed this is the very theme that the president has been promoting.
