Coffee farmers in a joint Coffee Cooperative Society are not pleased with the government for failing fulfilling promises.

They were promised that roads such as Misanvu, Kyabakuza and Matatete would be constructed plus a track for transporting coffee.

Abdullah the deputy Pokiino recounted that Buddu was famously known for coffee farming through the cooperatives though now it has only on cooperative society in place.

David Luswata the cooperative vice chairperson revealed that the pests that attack and dries the coffee stalks remain a great challenge to the farmers in Buddu.

Sowedi Sserwada, a council member of the cooperative revealed that they decided to buy the farmers produce at a reasonable to price in order to not discourage them.
