Uganda And Kenya To Toss It Out In Elgon Rugby Cup Set To Kickoff This Month

Elgon cup is among the famous tournaments on the African continent and it has been in existence for 15, the Elgon rugby tournament is played only by two I.e. Uganda and Kenya.

This year’s tournament will kick off in Nairobi the Kenyan capital on 22 July.

Both teams declared their squads today and each has a 23-player team.

Suguya the men’s rugby team coach revealed that he found it hard to select the 23 team members as most of the players were really good, and he promised to be this year’s champion.

The new players on the team early wait for the tournament as the launch of their rugby careers.

The second match will be played on July 13 at Kyadondo rugby grounds. Kenya has won the trophy 12 times and Uganda only 3 times.
