Having set the ace for him last year in the sport of power lifting USA based Ugandan Roy Mubiru still optimistic of 2020 with a number of competitions laid out.

For last year he managed to attain 4 gold medals for him and his country, which included a gold from the powerlifting world cup, which was in Ukraine and hi beat over 500 athletes

This year he will start his quest with a championship in Missouri USA, between 5-6, he will take part in the Arnold classics which are organized by Arnold Schwarzenegger, may [Vermont], Ukraine [June] Japan [December]

In one of his big target this year is to set a world record, which will make him the first Ugandan to do that

In his journey he greatly thanks salt media for being his voice to fellow Ugandans while in the USA 

Last year the president of the republic of Uganda H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni hosted and supported Mubiru financially while he was going to the world championships in Ukraine and at the end the year2019, he was among the few excelling Ugandans honored at a state organized dinner at the state house Entebbe.
