The Uganda cranes remain with only one game to qualify to the CHAN tournament, the game will take place on Saturday between the Uganda cranes and Burundi at Lugogo artificial tuff stadium of which the first game in Burundi ended 3-0 in favour of the cranes.

Johnathan Mckinstry the new Uganda Cranes coach assigned the Abdalla Mubiru his assistant to coach the cranes home team players that are playing in the CHAN tournament.

ON Monday Out of 25 players 22 appeared at Lugogo stadium for training with Abdallah Mubiru as the coach with the help of Geoffrey Massa and Sadik Wasswa. Mubiru reassured to perform better than the last game. Striker Mike Mutyaba who scored a goal in the first game against Burundi, last week became the first hat trick scorer this season in the home league. On Tuesday vipers’ youngster, Karim Watambala and Krizestom  Ntambi will be joining the rest of the team for training, likewise, coach Mckinstry will be at the training grounds monitoring the team players. Meanwhile, all the  Tuesday games have been postponed because of the national team training ahead of the Burundi game, these include police vs Proline and KCCA vs Kyetume.
