Kabaka To Crown The Buganda Clans Boat Tournament 2019 Set To Kickoff This Saturday

The Kabaka will be crowning the Buganda kingdom clan boat competition at sun beach this Saturday. Eighteen clans are competing for various gifts to be won including the shield or ‘engabo’ for the champion.

Eng. Ben Misaga the tournament chairperson highlighted that preparations for the competitions are in high gear.

“Every team is comprised of 7 people but with a five-player team. Kabaka will arrive at 12 PM; therefore all participants are expected to be at the venue before 11 AM. The entrance fee is Shs10000, eighteen teams to participate. The boats will be checked Thursday; to see whether they up to the standards and have all the requirements. All players will be staying at Nabugabo starting Thursday testing their equipment ” Eng. Ben Misaga said
