Stop Chasing Social Media Lies! – Pr. Bujjingo Warns Christians

In a fiery lunch-hour sermon at Canaan Land Makerere, Pr. Aloysius Bujjingo launched a blistering attack on the dangers of social media misuse among believers. The outspoken priest accused many Christians of "trading eternal truth for viral lies" through their reckless online behaviour.

During the lunch hour service at Canaan Land Makerere, Pr. Aloysius Bujjingo of House of Prayer Ministries International (HPMI) delivered a stirring message challenging believers to anchor their lives in godly wisdom. The preacher emphasised the need for authentic Christian witness in an era of moral compromise, urging congregants to cultivate spiritual discernment that transforms both private and public conduct.

Pr. Bujjingo issued strong warnings about the corrupting influence of social media, where he observed many chase fleeting popularity rather than eternal truths. He particularly condemned the spread of immoral content and the growing trend of Christians uncritically adopting worldly behaviours masked as modern trends. The homily stressed personal responsibility, with the priest reminding worshippers that every believer carries the mandate to represent Christ through righteous living that leaves a godly legacy.

The service culminated with prayers for divine wisdom to navigate contemporary temptations while maintaining biblical integrity. Pr. Bujjingo's message struck a chord among the community and attendees, many of whom face daily pressures to conform to secular culture.
