Youth groups in Namayingo district have defaulted to refund Four hundred forty seven million shillings under youth livelihood program for financial year 2014-2017, Mr Sanya Ronald the district Chairperson LCV ,while in ordinary council meeting revealed, how the money was given to youth as a loan for empowerment.

They resolved as council to use enforcement authority in order to recover the money. 

Sanya said after the ministry of gender and social development having issued a document designed not to support the district with YLP grants

According to the district focal point person for YLP Mr.Wandera Geoffrey added that a total of 80 groups have not yet settled the grant.

The district Councillor for PWDs Hon. Bwire David attributed the failure for the youth to default the grant as a weakness and failure of CDOs to induct the youth on how to use the money
