KAMPALA
As we head towards the holidays, bodaboda drivers in Kampala have appealed to the government to save them from what they called fanatics who want to rob them of their job
They said they had recently been robbed of large sums of money by telling them to undergo brain tests but this time they heard that someone was offering them to buy boards for Rs 40,000 each
The worst thing about these bodaboda drivers is that the purpose of this is for individuals who are looking for their interests and not for the benefit of the Government
Bobi Hamza, deputy spokesperson of the Bodaboda Industry Uganda, said that according to the guidelines given by KCCA, the law on absence is still being formulated
Their chairman Byarugaba James said he wanted the government to come out and address the issue because the consequences of this could be negative
Meanwhile, long-distance bus operators have announced that they will not increase fares too much so that passengers do not panic.
