Deputy RDC Mukono Municipality Mrs Rhodha Tiitwe Kagagga has warned building owners in Mukono that they no longer want bad buildings in Mukono and that they will be demolished for the area's good.
He was speaking at the opening of the Mukono District Traders Association (MUKCITA) 's annual general meeting at the Bredo Hotel.
He said the hour has come for people to support all the development initiatives in Mukono.
She also asserted that the government is currently registering all the traders in the area to get them space in the new market it is going to build but some selfish people are fighting the plan.
KACITA traders chairman Thaddeus Musoke Nagenda warned the traders' leadership in Mukono town to avoid discriminating against street workers because there are no laws but the government should help them.
She urged Mukono traders to be united for the good of the municipality.
MUKCITA traders chairman Vincent Lukwago first read out the report of the achievements of the traders in educating, uniting all traders, and restoring unity.
