Business came to a standstill as the vendors protested over the overpriced stall in the Wakiso market. Traders demonstrated while carrying charts deriding leaders whom they accused of making them bankrupt.

The stalls are priced at Shs 5 million and the shops at Shs 15 million for 35 years lease, which is so unfair according to the traders. The traders further complained that since the leaders serve their own selfish interests, therefore, they have lost hope in them, though the leaders refuted the allegations.

On hearing the news of protesting, Rose Kirabira the area  RDC condemned the act of protesting by the traders.
