According to CAF directive to all African countries soccer-governing bodies, all matches that were supposed to be played must be postponed because the players are stranded abroad AFTER the flights cancelled. In addition CAF stressed the fact that it is prioritizing the health of soccer fans.
Besides, the Uganda cranes coach Mckinstry said that the health of the fans is more important than the soccer matches. Mckinstry also added that most of the players have no means of returning to Uganda because flights were cancelled. How this didn’t stop cranes from training at Lugogo preparing ahead of CHAN.
