    Mckinstry Names AFCON Squad

    Jonathan Mckinstry has named a team to that will be playing against south Sudan in the AFCON 2021 qualifier; the team is comprised of 20 international players and 5 local players that are yet to be added to the team.

    Salim Jamal the goal has been called back to the team after a suspension that cam as a result of leading others players in expressing their dissatisfaction over the unfulfilled promise of a package from the government, in addition the player also used social media to derail the FUFA officials over the squandering the players money. As he returns to the team, the soccer governing body has sternly warned the player to ditch the misconduct.

    However some player that really miss out on the squad have been left out: goalkeeper Robert Odongkara, defenders   Hassan Waswa & Murushid Juuki, midfielders Faraouk Miya who is suffering from an injury and striker Patrick Kaddu.

    However there are new 3 player on the team including Roy Jayden 19 years old with Ugandan father and English mother, is former junior arsenal player and Okello Bwomono 21 year aged who plays in south end 3rd league English side. The player was born in Uganda and went to England at the age of 3 with his parents. Anthony Uchechukwu 25 years old has a Nigerian father and Ugandan mother; he plays with heart of Midlothian as a striker
