A team of 28 swimmers will be representing Uganda in the 7-nation CAN zone 3 championship 2019 that will take place in Kenya from 28-november to 12-december 2019.

David Katende leading the NCS team, handed the national flag to the team that is expected to return home victoriously with several medals.

The Uganda swimming federation officials emphasized the significance of this competition saying that it will help to promote Uganda’s swimmers and help them to obtain points that will see them qualify for the Olympics 2020. Uganda will be represented at the junior and open categories.

The competitions will be held at Kasarani aquatic center in Kasarani Kenya where nations such as Kenya Rwanda, Sudan, Ethiopia, Burundi and Tanzania will be participating.
