Onyango arrived last evening at 5:30 PM at Lugogo, though he did not train with the team. On his arrival, he visited the national team medical assistants; an indication of the possibility of an injury.
Onyango joined the team members in a conversation as usual, when the training ended exactly at 7 pm.
In the same way, the government has offered Shs4.7b to the Uganda Cranes team for the AFCON arrangements.
FUFA has confirmed receiving the money and appreciated the government for being supportive, according to the FUFA website. Onyango the national team captain received the news with excitement and promised as a team to give their best.
