FUFA big league matches started yesterday when 6 were played as the different team struggle to join the Uganda super league. Katwe united played against Light SS FC a soccer club from Uganda.
By the time the first half ended, both teams had neither scored on conceded a goal despite the great game displayed at the pitch. Katwe United scored the first goal in the 73rd minute through Ssemwogerere Abdu who scored an amazing goal. After the gaol, the great downpour ensued bringing the game to a stop. Among other games played include Water 1- 2 Kigezi home boyz, Ndejje 2-1 Nyamitybora, Dove 0 – 1 UPDF, PBA 1 – Mbale kataka (postponed in the 40th minute), Mbale heroes 0 – 1 Myda, Katwe 1 – 0 Light SS.
