On the 30th may 2017 Allan Ssewanyana the Katwe united chairperson and the Makindye west MP reported to the FIFA disciplinary committee about the FUFA president Moses Magogo’s conduct when he squandered the world cup 2014 tickets meant for Ugandans.
Today it was proved that Magogo indeed committed the offence, according to FIFA the investigations ensued on July 2018, and he has been charged according to the FIFA code 61 (a) of the FIFA disciplinary committee. Therefore Magogo has been fined SFr 10000, Shs 37.188327 Million. More to that he has been given a 2 months ban without engaging in any football activity, which means he will resume his duties as the FUFA president on the 10th –December 2019.
However this the first offence that Magogo has been charged with, this will probably affect his future in the football arena and hi position in the CAF since he is among the top officials, on top of that he had aspirations of becoming the CAF president in time to come.
On the 28th of September, Magogo stepped aside as FUFA president during the FUFA conference in Adjumani to give room for the investigations, therefore all this unfolds when he is outside the FUFA presidency.
