Some of the top leaders of the Uganda kickboxing federation together with some of the kickboxers gathered at the Mt Zion hotel in Kampala and declared that while in a special meeting they impeached Patrick Luyoza from the position of Uganda kickboxing federation after he replace the late Hasan Sekirime when he died.
Luyoza has been replaced with Don Malik a kickboxing games organizer.
The enraged leaders accused Luyonza of hiring friends and family members to do the federation work which un profession, in the same way, they derailed him over resource misappropriation.
However, Luyonza scorned them saying he is still the federation president. More to that he refuted the claims.
The dissatisfied leaders plan to hold an election with 90 days, though the federation constitution states that in case the current president dies, the acting president who replaces him must continue until the term is over. In the same way, the elections must be supervised by the national council of sports.
