ELDERLY DECRY LIVING POOR CONDITIONS

The elderly in Garamba village in Gombe Wakiso district have expressed their dissatisfaction with the living conditions including lack of clean water and poor roads which have made it difficult for them to go to hospitals. is covered by poor roads that are full of potholes.


They were found at their homes by the area chairman Samuel Kusasira who visited them to see how they are doing.
 The elderly explained that the water situation in the area has made it very difficult for them and some have already given up bathing.

 They also complained about the poor roads in the area and some of them even die at home for fear of going to hospitals because of the booda booda
The village chairman gets up to visit the elderly. They received the supplies from the area chairperson as a new year's present.
The elderly thanked the mayor and other leaders for having generous hearts and giving them something to start the year.
Ssentebe Kusasira appealed to the concerned authorities to help the elderly in the area as their condition is worrying.
