Boxers, Athletes Uganda’s Only Hope in All African Games

The hopes for Uganda to win medals in the All African games Morocco 2019 only remains in the boxing and athletes since Uganda has been knocked out from all other games.

In the table tennis games, Nakhumitsa Rita a Ugandan has been knocked out by Akeel Pamela a Congolese.

Meanwhile, in boxing 3 of the Ugandan players have qualified to the semi-finals, this implies that even though they are knocked out at this stage, they’ve already secured bronze medals. Last night, Ssemujju David a Uganda boxer defeated Obama Raul from equatorial Guinea,  Masembe Isaac defeated Samede Wilson from Cape Verde. Balake Hellen in the ladies category qualified automatically because the supposed opponent didn’t appear, therefore she will be playing with  Mardi Khaija from Morocco. Masembe Isaac is set to play with Modjane Ousama from Algeria and Ssemujju David will be playing with Mneim from Egypt.

In the same way, Uganda still has a couple of players in the athletics, in which they are expected to win medals as they always do.
