Hon. Allan Ssewanyan’s Katwe United Finally Climbs to The Big League

Every year four clubs join big league, which is the second national league after the super league. Hon. Allan Ssewanyana’s Katwe united is the first out of the four clubs to the big league season 2019-2020.

Katwe united from Kampala region defeated Kajjansi united from Buganda region 4-3 in the return game as the first one ended 2-1 in favour of Kajjansi.

The game that was so interesting conveyed a full house at Lugogo indoor stadium.

The first half ended 2-0 in favour of Katwe united scored by Katumba Alex & Bukenya Allan respectively.

20 minutes to the end of the match Kubuye Muhammad scored Kajjans’s first goal something that caused tension on Katwe’s side.

Semwanga Paul scored Katwe’s winning goal in the 86th minute.

Other teams contesting for big league entrance will be playing next week Tuesday, these include Ntonda Vs new Villa, Saviors FC Vs Calvary, Mayday Vs Akadot FC.

The Katwe coach stated that they have been eagerly waiting for this opportunity since they nearly made last year.
