Uganda Hosting African Basketball Tournament

Uganda has greatly advanced in the past few years in the field basketball sport for both men & women category. 

Next month Uganda will be hosting the African 3x3 basketball tournament from 7 to 10th November at Lugogo hockey stadium, all this was declared by Nasser Sserunjogi the FUBA president alongside the FIBA officials during the press conference.

12 nations will be participating in this tournament both men’s and women’s categories, these include Nigeria, Egypt Burundi Mauritius etc.

meanwhile the national basketball team for both men and women have left for Qatar to participate in the world cup beach games, this is the very team that will play in the African 3x3 basketball tournament.

The convention 5 player basketball game is no so different from the 3x3 game which has been added on the list of Olympics 2019 games.
