UPDF Online Recruitment Ends Today: 11,500 Positions Available

The Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) online recruitment registration, which began on July 7, officially closes today, Tuesday, July 14.

In an exclusive interview with  Major Charles Kabona, the spokesperson for the 1st Infantry Division in Kakiri, outlined the registration process and requirements for applicants.

Major Kabona emphasized that the registration is free of charge and has been open to all eligible Ugandans across the country. Major Kabona confirmed that after today’s deadline, the UPDF will release a list of qualified applicants, who will then be invited for physical screening.

The army spokesperson urged interested applicants to join out of love for the nation, not just for financial gain.
