The deputy speaker of parliament Anitta Among has bailed the family of the two detained members of parliament Allan sewanyana and Muhammad Segirinya.
The Kawempe north MP Muhammad Segirinyas mother was also included, awarded with SHS 15 million package each receiving five million million.
The package was handled over by the Iganga municipality Mp Panadol Mugema.
The speaker had invited them after failing to meet them twice due to a busy schedule.
It was meeting if somber mood after the mother of honourable segirinya narrated how the she was in a very poor state of health. Mrs Sanyu Nakajumba also called upon the deputy speaker to intervene and ensure that that her son is given bail.
During the same briefing the wife to honourable Sewanyana also narrated how the children are still traumatised with their fathers being in jail which has portrayed them as criminals.
Meanwhile Segirinyas wife also explained how the various programs had continued to stall including the hospital because the initiators of this project being behind bar.
While delivering the message on behalf of the speaker the Mugema regretted what the Mps were undergoing but assured the mother as parliament they were to ensure that these get justice.
Flanked by the speakers personal secretary Edward Ariku Mugema pledged to render all the necessary assistance.
