A man cries out after being knocked down by US embassy vehicle in Uganda leaving him with broken legs and cracked head.
The victim is pleading for justice from the authorities since he has received no assistance or compensation since the accident occurred.
MAGEMBE SALIM a motorcyclist says that he has parked by road when an American embassy mini-bus driver strayed and bumped into him, he adds that ever since he has been seeking assistance from the area police station of Kabalagala but to no avail.
Magembe expressed concern over threats that have continually flowing in from the driver who knocked him, telling him to drop the charges and forget about the case, worse still the police has turned a deaf ear to his plea for justice and protection.
Given that the victim needed a walking stick even before the accident since he was lame, the accident made the situation worse. He is therefore seeking for medical assistance and justice.
The accident has left the family of 11 people; Magambe, wife and the 9 children with no mean\s of survival, since Magembe was the breadwinner.
On this matter the assistant Kampala metropolitan police spokesperson Luke Oweyesigyire said that since both parties deny being in wrong, the police is ion the process of taking the case before the judges to decide.
