Busia town grapples with toilet difficulties

Residents and taxi drivers in Busia town demanded the closer of the only operating public toilet found in the Busia taxi park to be closed immediately, according to these residents the toilet has filled up and is now smelling beyond normal and that they are at a risk of getting diseases soon.

They forced the man operating the toilet to explain to them where the money they collect is taken, because they see no good services given to them, here is the drama.

Taxi drivers like Wafula Ali and the friends accuse the track driver's of filling up the toilet so fast because since the lockdown in March the track drivers have turned their taxi park into a parking yard.

Monia siragi the chairman of the taxi drivers in Busia town said that the track drivers have spoiled the taxi park with their heavy tracks creating potholes in the park.

Meanwhile the mayor Busia municipality said that Busia has been greatly affected by this lockdown, being a border district most of his people used to do business with the Kenyans and because the border is now locked down many of his people like the taxi drivers are doing badly. He promised sort out the issue of toilet in the taxi park very fast.
