Farmers In Despair As Locusts Swarm Pineapple Plantations in Namayingo

Farmers of Budangi village Bungecha parish in Buswale Sub County in Namayingo District are in state of fear after the locusts swarmed one of their pineapple gardens.

Residents said that they realized this disaster after multiplying their young ones which attempted them to inform the relevant authorities

Sanya Ronald the district Chairperson LCV confirmed and assured the farmers as they are going to work around the clock with the ministry of agriculture, animal industry and fisheries to stop them from multiplying.
