Parents Warned Over Keeping Children at Home

The Manafwa district chairperson has issued a warning to parents who are still keeping their children at home instead of taking them to school to take them before getting arrested.

The term has entered the third week but Musila says up to now children are vending foods in the markets and on the streets of Manafwa district.

He has taken the community development officers, parish and sub county chiefs to forward the names of the parents who are still keeping children at home.

Bugisu region is one of the regions that is always performing worst in the county in terms of education and this late reporting could be some of the reasons, that’s according to the chairman.
