 Students to Miss UCE Exams

Over 100 students of Hilton academy, Katale in Kajansi town council are stranded and distressed after realizing that they will be missing out on the UNEB exams this year and will have to wait until next year.

Like other students, they woke to go to school to attend the examination briefing only to be told that the headteacher Kabali Hassan ran away with all the students' UNEB scholastic materials such as the UNEB student forms and others.

The school has been going through a series of conflicts only to end with the headmaster running away with students scholastic materials, on top of that he did not register some of the students for the national exams though they paid.

On greeting to know about the incident, the Wakiso district school inspector Nakabugo Janat tried to contact the headmaster Kabali but all in vain. Nakbaugo said that the headmaster will have to cover students’ school costs for the whole of next year.

The UNEB spokesperson Jennifer Kalule said that it is too late and there is nothing they can do as UNEB to help these students.
