Uganda joins the rest of the world to  celebrate the world food day

As Uganda joins the rest of the world to e celebrate the world food day, world food program has called upon the government to address the food shortage especially non-healthy foodstuff on the market which have instead caused non-communicable disease.

The world healthy country representative Antonio Querido says it’s such diseases which are the leading cause of death worldwide .she says such death contributes two trillion dollars annually.

Antonio was addressing celebrants which included civil society organizations which have participated in the matching to parliament. She further argued the government to help farmers produce healthy foods on the market which will sustain the current population.
