Sub county chiefs in Budaka district have been accused of misusing funds which were meant for sub county roads. 

During  the road committee meeting which was chaired by the Iki-Iki county Member of Parliament Robert Kasolo, the committee identified that all the monies which were sent to the sub county to work on roads was misused which has brought a gap

Robert Kasolo said that although the district roads are being worked on, the money for the sub county roads for the last financial year was shared by the sub county chief. 

Samuel Mulomi the Budaka district chairperson said that they have resolved not to send any money to the sub county.                                                                                                                      

He said that the district engineer will be responsible for making the bills of quantity and Budget for the roads in the sub counties before the money being released.
