Houses gardens, cassava and sweet potatoes plantations were destroyed by the storm during the Monday downpour.

The rain left farmers deprived of everything since the livestock, plantations were destroyed and rooftops were blown off the houses.

The affected farmers called upon the government to run for their rescue because they headed for a disastrous famine after losing their plantations to the storm and the heavy rains.
